Rapid City at its very core is a Basketball City by heart. Former professionals Becky Hammon and Eric Piatkowski hail from our great community. We have not hosted a homegrown outdoor basketball tournament for several years and wanted to provide a unique recreation opportunity like this to our community and its visitors with the heart of our downtown in mind. What better way to make that happen than to partner with a long standing and well known tournament like Gus Macker.
