GRAND RAPIDS MACKER WELCOMES BASKETBALL LOVERS HOME
Welcome to the Grand Rapids Gus Macker, which will be played on the beautiful campus of Kenowa Hills High School, and located only 10 minutes from downtown Grand Rapids and a short 30 minute drive to the beautiful beaches of Lake Michigan. Fans and spectators will enjoy having all courts at one location with an abundance of grass for spectator tents and trees for shade. Proceeds from this tournament support our school district’s athletic programs.
Get your team together and register TODAY. Divisions are based on age, gender and experience. Eight year olds and younger play on an 8’ rim. Teams in the youth division can sign up at the event to play on the Dreamcourt.
The registration cost is $172 per team. Deadline to register by mail is August 25th or August 28th for online registration.
Player trophies are awarded to teams winning first, second, third place and the toilet bowl bracket on each court. Which trophy will you take home?
Onsite Registration:
Onsite registration will take place at Kenowa Hills HIgh School (3825 Hendershot Ave NW, 49544) on Friday, September 6th from 4:00-7:00 p.m. The courts and registration will be in the parking lots in front of the main entrance to the High School, which can be accessed from Hendershot Ave, just North of 4 Mile Rd. Registration will resume on Saturday, September 8th at 7:00 a.m. and conclude at noon. Opening Ceremonies will begin at 8:00 a.m. Saturday.
Parking:
Convenient, onsite parking will cost $5 cash per day (Saturday and Sunday) and $10 cash per day for RVs. Parking proceeds and all profits from the weekend benefit our District's athletic programs. Thank you for your support.
Hotel:
Guests coming in from out-of-town can book their overnight stay at the Holiday Inn Grand Rapids N-Walker on Walker Ave (2280 Northridge Drive NW, 49544).
