Welcome to the Grand Rapids Gus Macker 2025!

Get ready to bring your A-game to one of the most epic 3-on-3 basketball tournaments around! The Grand Rapids Gus Macker is hitting the courts at Kenowa Hills High School, just 10 minutes from downtown Grand Rapids and only 30 minutes from the stunning beaches of Lake Michigan. It's the perfect spot for some serious ballin', with all the action happening in one location and plenty of space for fans to chill under the trees or set up their tents. Proceeds from this tournament support Kenowa Hills Youth athletic programs, so your hustle on the court helps keep the game alive for players of all ages.

The competition is fierce, so pick your team and get ready to ball out. Divisions are split by age, gender, and skill level, so there’s a spot for everyone. If you're 8 years old or younger, you'll be dunkin' on an 8-foot rim. (Pro tip: All players in this division must be 8 or younger!) Youth teams can also sign up to play on the Dreamcourt at the event.

Player Trophies:
Only the strongest will earn the glory! Trophies are awarded to the top 3 teams and the Toilet Bowl (yep, we’ve got a bracket for those who still bring it). Which trophy are you claiming this year?

Friday, Sept 12th: 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Saturday, Sept 13th: 7:00 a.m. - Noon
Opening Ceremonies: 8:00 a.m. Saturday
Come early, register on-site, and be part of the hype! The action kicks off Saturday morning, so don’t be late!

Parking Info:

We’ve got you covered with on-site parking for just $5 per day (Saturday and Sunday) and $10 per day for RVs. All parking proceeds and weekend profits go directly to support our district's athletic programs. Your support keeps the game growing!

Slam Dunk Contest - Are You Ready to Fly?

Think you’ve got the hops to take it to the next level? Enter the Slam Dunk Contest and show off your aerial skills. There’s no cost to enter, and the winner walks away with $500 and the title of Slam Dunk Champion of the 2025 Grand Rapids Gus Macker!
To enter, you must be registered for the tournament. The contest will take place on Saturday (time TBD) at the Top Men’s Court. Bring your best dunk—this is your chance to shine!
