Opening Ceremonies kick off on the Men’s Elite Court. The National Anthem will be sung, and several honorees will take the first shots to open the 33rd Annual Ludington Gus Macker Tournament.

Food trucks are open on both the north and south ends of the beach.

 Registration moves to Stearns Park Beach, (420 N Lakeshore Dr, Ludington, MI 49431) where scavenger hunt cards are still available.

you're planning to park in the Paid Parking Area for Gus Macker, be sure to follow the pink route on the map.Use Ludington Ave. and then turn north on North Washington Avenue, then turn west onto East Tinkham Avenue. From there, keep driving straight ahead to the Macker Parking Entrance which is located at W. Tinkham and Gaylord Ave.

Some IMPORTANT items: When traveling on N. Washington Ave., we ask that no Macker traffic continue past Tinkham (the green route)—this will help those who live north of Tinkham and in the Hamlin area be able to not be caught in much congestion.

There is only one flow of traffic into the paid parking area. Please do not go the opposite direction of the arrows show in the yellow area on the map.

No parking in the alleys behind the homes on Lakeshore Drive. Those are the ways that the residents, who enjoy watching Macker, are able to get into their homes that weekend. Residents will have special passes and you don't want to be ticketed.

If it is in red, you cannot park in that area and could be ticketed and/or towed. That includes the boat ramp area south of Ludington Ave. and the roads leading to the boat ramp area.

The Paid Parking area is just a short walk to the Gus Macker Tournament & Safety Zone at Stearns Park. Once you park, it’s an easy stroll to all the action.

If you need Handicap Parking, that has a different route. Use Ludington Avenue westbound (follow the purple route). Handicap parking is free and located just west of the Jaycees Mini Golf Course. You'll need to show handicap on your license plate or mirror hanger.

Player registration is at Ludington Elementary (not near the beach!). If you're picking up packets, head northeast along the pink path to the school.

We also encourage you to pay-to-park for your convenience and also for one of our volunteer groups to raise money for their team.

Get ready for high-flying action during one of the most exciting moments of Gus Macker weekend—the Slam Dunk Contest, sponsored by Safe Harbor Credit Union! It all goes down Saturday at 6:00 PM on the Men’s Elite Court.

Players registered for the Ludington Gus Macker tournament are invited to sign up at the main stage any time between 8:00 AM and 5:30 PM on Saturday. Whether you’re showing off serious verticals or jaw-dropping creativity, this is your shot to shine.

One dunker will walk away with the title and a 

, so bring your best and make it count. Fans, don’t miss it—this is where the crowd gets loud.


THE $1 GUS MACKER CHALLENGE FOR JACKIE 

you’ve ever played in the Ludington Gus Macker, watched from the sidelines, or walked through Stearns Park during tournament weekend… chances are, you’ve seen Jackie Sniegowski-Steckel in action.

Jackie has volunteered since day one—organizing, leading, and volunteering with unmatched heart and energy to help make this event what it is today. Her dedication to this tournament and this community is simply irreplaceable.

Last year, Jackie began having issues breathing, coughing non-stop and something that she never expected. The capacity to breath diminished to the point she was hospitalized. Recently, Jackie underwent a double lung transplant. As she fights through recovery and faces mounting medical bills, we’re asking all of Ludington Macker Nation to come together for her—just like she’s always shown up for us.

 This year, we’re launching a $1 Gus Macker Challenge in her honor.

At the Main Stage, you’ll see a locked donation drop box with a simple mission: "Drop a Dollar for Jackie".

One moment to say, "We see you. We’re with you."With 32,000 spectators and players expected throughout the weekend… just imagine what we could do together. Turning these dollars into a message of love, strength, and community?

Whether you're a player, a parent, a fan, or just passing through—we challenge you to "drop a dollar". Know that it’s going straight to a woman who’s given so much without ever asking for a thing in return.
